The Doctor is in…

Jay T Flottmann, MD

I'm Jay “Bones” Flottmann! Welcome to CompleteKare! I'm not your average doctor. I spent more than 20 years in the United States Air Force working as both a primary care physician (flight surgeon) as well as a fully trained fighter pilot. My passion and area of expertise is in human performance having trained in two unique and highly demanding career spaces. What I've learned over my career is that lifestyle modification can help with 80% of chronic disease and prevention is paramount. I'm here to show you how, and I'm here to support your goals both with traditional as well as natural alternatives

I was fortunate to fly several different aircraft in USAF and this has to be one of my favorites! The mighty F-15C, Eagle!.

JOY!

One of the greatest joys I had while in the USAF was working on the F-22 Raptor program. Do you remember when the worlds most advanced tactical fighter was “grounded” because pilots were experiencing abnormal physiologic symptoms in 2011-2012? I was trained to fly the aircraft and was able to bridge the man-machine interface identifying vulnerabilities in the system that affected human performance. This was my last flight in the Raptor!

Eisenhower School_NDU

My work with the F-22 led to my selection to attend the prestigious Dwight D. Eisenhower School for National Security and Resource Strategy located at the National Defense University in Washington, DC. During this time I was fortunate to travel all over the world, meet global leaders both civilian and military, and expand my critical thinking skills regarding US resource strategy with a focus on health and economics.
